A Twilight Challenge
Just this morning I discovered that my name had been included in a poetry challenge by a dear fellow poet. Here is a link to the original post, and below is my entry for the challenge. The theme was the title word “Gloaming”.
Gloaming
Lightly, sprightly
Gleams the silver summer gloaming
When the fireflies are homing
To the stars.
Slender, tender
In the silent summer gloaming
Glows the newest moon gone roaming
Mid the stars.
