ACM Weekly Oct.2
Hello friends,
First, an apology for missing last week’s edition! This was due to a colorful if unpleasant combination of health issues, along with attempts to use the Medium platform more effectively without quite knowing what I was doing, which seriously slowed down my publications. ;)
Meantime, I seem to have caught up with myself, at least, so here is the latest from my writing desk—which mostly consists of an inexpensive smartphone at present. I have taken the latter through its paces even more thoroughly today, as my most recent poem boasts an illustration created on my phone screen… with my fingers… because I had no illusions about finding an appropriate image readily available. What stock photo company provides images of the bird of Tomorrow?!
Here are some musings on memories and the future, along with a tale of my precious little horse Margarita making herself helpful. There is also a simple descriptive poem with which I was rather pleased. This is Nightfall, Autumn. I am happy to say the weather is not yet so cold as the description, but the season is moving on, and I well remember my fascination with the autumn night sky here in more northerly regions.
Thank you for following along here, rain or shine!
Amy
