a Very Brief Haiku
I have only the briefest haiku post for you this week.
A trial of a new migraine medication was rather disastrous, leaving me in such a brain fog that I couldn’t write, nor, for that matter, do much of anything else. As it wasn’t making a dent in the headaches either, it was a complete loss. Another medication discontinued as a failure… sigh… I don’t discuss this very much, but I have migraines and related difficulties nearly daily. I try not to be down in the mouth about it, but it does get discouraging.
At least the intense brain fog is gone this morning!
Meantime, my sister’s star jasmine has been quietly flowering on the back porch. She set a chair there next to her cluster of large flower pots full of various jasmines and a bright pink geranium.
She and I both love the fragrant jasmine vines.
