I have just one poem for this week: a sonnet written after watching raindrops glitter from the acacia branches. Nature herself celebrates every season in its own way; hence this poem.

Keeping the Seasons

Just half a year ago, the slender boughs
Of sweet acacia were festooned for May,
As though some sprite of unknown holiday
Had marked observance with a brig…
