Dear friends, I’ve been remiss posting and even writing lately. I’ve had some health issues that are making things difficult with, unfortunately, no end in sight at the moment.
I am still writing betwixt and between it all, and these haiku are what I have to share just now. They are all about the sky, which is so much an overwhelming presence here.
Orion dips down;
far away the ocean waits
his quests, but not mine.
The night is so thick.
I search for the Big Dipper,
see just the handle.
My skyline's simple:
electric poles, cypresses,
and a lone palm tree
