Two Haiku
Small Things of Spring
Have you been lucky enough to watch the way a hillside of wildflowers changes as the sun shifts throughout the day?
The wildflower haze
no clock tells me the hours, no—
of spring afternoons
The late winter rains were ample. They have set off a flurry of growth that harbors and feeds many small creatures.
A whirring of wings
a tumble of tree branches
I have intruded

Haiku like tiny blossoms, celebrating springtime. 💛🌿
