Just absolutely lovely. You have such well controlled grip on the tone. Halfway through your book of verse...Where can I respond to the book? Here?

Thanks so very much, Weston! It's a challenge to keep consistency of tone; it's been primarily a matter of creating and preserving that space in the mind and then, of course, plenty of practice!

You can certainly respond to the book here; I had hoped you could leave a comment on the "Hillside Diary" page, but it doesn't look like that's an option. But probably the best place is actually on the Amazon page: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09LGWWWGL

It is quite a feat, your rhyme and scan and of course, the content. I have both on occasion but when I have those as part of the structure, I just chase away the content. Too bad but once I decided to use free verse, my focus became what I wanted.

See if you have any links to the Hillside Diary page. I will put a comment on Amazon as well. Wes

Who needs titles? I enjoyed the first poem very much!

Thanks--so glad you enjoyed it! The temptation is growing to just number the poems--at least the sonnets--and be done with it. After all, it works for Shakespeare's... ;-)
