I find the arrival of birds a very welcome thing, every time. It always reassures me that my world, the one they are arriving into, is an acceptable place to them.
On another topic. I gathered together 110 poems, which I whittled down from 200. But I am not moved to go on to the next step, all the sending out to others for more editing. I really don't know if the world needs another book of poetry, in all honesty. I'll give it a few months or longer to see if it shakes off the doldrums and wants for bigger things. Wes
Yes, the world needs another book of poetry. Even more it needs that individual perspective and vision of things that are at the heart of chasing after this thing we call may literature or poetry or life itself. I really hope you can get the inspiration levels back up, Wes. I'd be glad to help if I can. I've been so scatterbrained lately that I'm not sure how much help I'd be--ha! But let me know if you think I can lend a hand!

Thanks Amy, for all that.

It was so gentle and wet that I could hardly call it a storm... :)
