I've missed you too, dear Chen. The past two months have been pretty bleak here, so I haven't been able to interact much. I know you sent me a DM earlier and now I've lost it in the stack of notifications. I'll get back to you shortly though! Much love!
I like the "vast ringing of stars" and the "silent carillon". I have been repairing several "flotadoras", inflatable pool things. Blowing them back enough to try to find the hole, then trying to tape over the hole or use liquid instant glue. All that reminds me of trying to resuscitate a poem that, for some reason, will not revive. "Live, damn you, live!" but they just lie there, lifeless. It's a sad moment when I declare time of death even though I know it's for the best. 😉. Yer pal, Wes. ps. I have assembled 110 poems, written intros to 11 chapters but am stalled and don't know why. Could be the world doesn't require another book of poetry. I'll wait for motivation to strike and if not, well, no loss.
I love that analogy because it really does sometimes feel like blowing oxygen into something held together by Scotch tape! ;-) And some days that even describes me, dare I say!
I've left the rest of my comments on the other post, but let me know if I can help out any!
Hope you're enjoying that pool; we've just gotten a brief reprieve on in-coming summer. The cool temps arrived with rain, so no complaints!
I missed you
